Thank You – Your Support Has Made a Real Difference

For many patients, having their retina scanned is a crucial part of diagnosing eye conditions and ensuring the right course of treatment. However, for children and vulnerable adults who struggle to cooperate during a traditional eye exam, this process can become difficult or even impossible. The hand-held scanner is designed to make this process much easier and more comfortable, allowing staff to take accurate scans without the need for the patient to remain still for long periods.

This scanner is a vital tool that will help the Ophthalmology Department provide better care to those who need it most. By funding this project, we can ensure that children with special needs, elderly patients, and anyone who may struggle with the traditional scanning method will not be left behind.
