We were absolutely delighted to hear that Friends of Stratford Hospital had been selected as a finalist in the Charity of the Year category at the Stratford Herald Business & Tourism Awards 2026.

But, as if that wasn't exciting enough, we were even more thrilled to be invited to the glitzy awards ceremony, held on Friday 16th October at the Crowne Plaza, Stratford-upon-Avon.

And what a night it was!

Surrounded by an incredible array of people and organisations doing amazing things in their own right, the evening was a truly fabulous celebration of the inspiring, dedicated and community-minded businesses, charities and organisations that make Stratford-upon-Avon and the surrounding area such a special place to live and work.

For FoSH, being recognised as a finalist is something we are immensely proud of. It was a wonderful opportunity to shine a spotlight on who we are, what we do and, most importantly, the difference we are able to make to Stratford Hospital and our local community.

To be recognised alongside so many remarkable organisations is an achievement in itself, and one we will remember for a very long time.

Of course, none of what we do would be possible without our wonderful volunteers, supporters and everyone who gives their time, energy and generosity to help us continue our work.

This recognition belongs to each and every one of you.

We hope this fantastic achievement will also help more people discover Friends of Stratford Hospital, learn about the important role we play in supporting our local hospital and perhaps even inspire a few new faces to join us along the way!
