A non-profit book supporting Friends of Stratford Hospital

Following a serious fall while walking his dog, retired Chief Executive Richard Clark found himself on an unexpected and life-changing journey. What began as a routine day became a two-year battle with ill health, multiple hospital stays, uncertainty, and ultimately a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.

The race is returning to the streets of Stratford on Sunday 12th September 2027 and we are delighted that organisers, Tempo Events, have once again chosen FoSH as their charity partner!

The Summer Series returns in 2027 and we are delighted that the third evening race of the series will once again be held at Alscot! Alscot, one of our corporate supporters, will be flying the flag for FoSH. Save the date - Thursday 8th July 2027

The Friends’ popular Christmas Wreaths and Plants Sale is taking place on 17, 18 and 19 November 10-3pm in Building One at the Hospital.

Our very own Christmas cards will also be available to buy at the sale and, from then onwards, at our Meet & Greet in the hospital foyer on Thursday and Friday mornings.

In the meantime, if you’re looking for some beautiful blank notelets, these are available to purchase now at our Meet & Greet, along with a great selection of quality books and puzzles.
