This spring and summer, runners can take part in a fantastic series of three 5K races, held monthly from May through July at three different locations across the area. The series concludes on Thursday, 9th July 2026, with a spectacular final race at Alscot Park.

We’re delighted that Tempo Events has chosen to support Friends of Stratford Hospital through this year’s series.

Emma Holman-West, owner of the Alscot Estate, is Patron of the Friends. The charity supports patients and staff at Stratford Hospital by funding valuable equipment and services beyond standard NHS provision.

Race schedule

Race 1 – Tysoe

Thursday 7th May 2026, 7 pm

The first race in the series takes place on the road between Tysoe and Oxhill. This out-and-back route is the flattest of the three, making it an ideal way to kick off the series.

Race 2 – Pebworth

Thursday 11th June 2026, 7 pm

The second race follows a circular route from Pebworth, heading out along Long Marston Road towards Dorsington before returning via Dorsington Road. The course is entirely on the road and is planned to take advantage of a full road closure.

Race 3 – Alscot Estate

Thursday 9th July 2026, 7 pm

The final race takes place in the beautiful surroundings of Alscot Estate. This memorable route passes through Preston on Stour and Atherstone on Stour, with a predominantly road-based course and a final 600m stretch on trail, bringing runners back into the park for a spectacular finish.

Subject to permissions, all three races are expected to have full road closures.
